Discovery Day: Impressions

stagemusic opened its doors on 18th of November to inaugurate the redesigned showrooms and the training center. Customers could attend workshops and demos the whole day. Here are some impressions:

Training Center

Three spacious and acoustically optimized rooms can be used by teachers to hold music lessons. We expect for september 2013 to offer, besides the piano lessons already taught by Leo Castellano, also guitar and percussion lessons.

To share with You our passion for the new area that starts for stagemusic, we'd like to invite You to a very special event on Sunday, November 18th 2012 where You can visit the new Training Center and even attend Cajon or Guitar workshops and a lot more. Read on!

Program for November 18th 2012

Cajon Workshops with Matthias Philipzen for Beginners to Intermediates or more generally for all who are interested in rhythm. The number of participants is limited to 20 per workshop. Multiple sessions can be hold the same day depending on the number of inscriptions. The workshop introduces to how to play the cajon and building first rhythm and continues to styles like HipHop or Latin.

Price: 15,- € per session per person (No need to bring along a cajon. There will be 20 Schlagwerk Cajons in the classroom)

Session 1: 10:30 - 11:30
Session 2: 13:30 - 14:30
Session 3: 15:00 - 16:00

Guitar Workshop with Chris Woods targeted to percussive techniques on the Acoustic Guitar (Martin). The attendant should have intermediate skills to benefit the most of this exciting course. The number of participants per workshop is limited to 10 people. Attendants must bring along their acoustic guitar.

Price: 15,- € per session per person (You need to bring along Your Acoustic Guitar)

Hammond Demo with Dirk Van der Linden. Dirk will be in the shop all day long and You can ask him any question that haunts You about hammond organs. Nowadays hammond organs are no more bulky and heavy but they have been sized down to a very compact instrument like the Hammond SK-1 without loosing their incomparable character.

Drum Clinic with Jojo Mayer stopping by at our shop on his Perfect Balance 2012 Clinic Tour.

Price: You have to buy a pair of JJ Mayer signature drumsticks 12,- €.
